ECCE&ECAB 2021 - kjVI Youth Programme

The kjVI Youth Programme accompanying the virtual ECCE and ECAB in 2021 is organized by the kjVI (creative young process engineers) and we are the youth group of the German society for process and chemical engineering (VDI-GVC). On the national level, the kjVI have organized such a programme many times and now they will act on the European level for the first time. The programme will run all congress days from Monday to Thursday and it is intended for PhD students and grad students in process engineering, chemical engineering, bioprocess engineering, and related subjects. But anyone can participate!

The kjVI Youth Programme will feature:

Various lectures besides the scientific kind on the congress
Company presentations and exchange with our sponsors
A European group exchange
Quiz show Expert vs. Audience
And much more

With this programme, the kjVI promote the exchange between students and industry in the field of process engineering. On all four congress days, you will gain insights on professional lives of young and also of experienced engineers. There is something for everyone, as the lectures will cover the "classic" but also the alternative career paths, such as self-employment or academic. Complementing the company lectures of our sponsors, there will be many opportunities to get in touch directly with your future employer of choice and to visit the digital company booths. Furthermore, our speakers will provide valuable tips and tricks on soft skills such as how to write a good paper or dos and don’ts in your application process. And finally, you can look forward to a very special highlight in our program: the ChemCar final race will take place via livestream on wednesday noon.

Since you don't have to travel to the congress, you can enjoy it from the comfort of your own home. All you need to participate is access to the internet. And it even gets better: all Zoom links will be accessible free of charge. However, we strongly recommend that you register for the entire conference - including the scientific part and access to the virtual venue tool - so that you don't miss out on any opportunity.
